Anniversary "Wake up" в LA
On June 28, the third anniversary of the project was celebrated in Los Angeles "Wake up". This name symbolizes not only an early wake-up call. "Wake up" is also a call to action. To wake up to what is important, to do good deeds. During this anniversary, we announced a charity fundraiser for the orphanage for the first time. We raised 1700 dollars and everything will be donated to help children. As a reminder, the project holds training sessions every Saturday at 7:00 a.m. in parks in many cities in Ukraine, America, and Europe. Anyone can join in.
Live broadcast about the new direction of the project development
To learn more about the needs of children from orphanages, Andriy Khomytsky conducted live broadcast with Sergiy. He is known as the Running Beard. The man knows exactly what he is talking about, because he grew up in it. He said that, like everyone else, these children need attention and socialization. In addition, they need knowledge of how to live in society, such as basic financial literacy, personal hygiene, and often clothes and shoes. YouTube.a channel with training
The Khomytsky family created a YouTube channel with fun workouts just for kids. It's called "Growing strong". They recorded it with their own four children in an easy "repeat after me" format.
Celebrations in Ukraine
Not only Los Angeles celebrated the project's anniversary, but also Oleksandria, Vinnytsia, and Rivne. After the training, the participants ate sweets and had fun together. Afterward, the group received a bunch of inspirational messages of gratitude to each other. Such a powerful community is capable of great things!
